Hand wash is recommended
I dye 3 skeins at a time to ensure a small batch dye lot accuracy but due to the nature of hand dying with speckling techniques nothing will ever be identical and alternating skeins is recommended for larger projects.
Professional grade acid dyes are used in my process. I finish with a soak in wool wash to ensure minimal bleeding.
